For the last few weeks....

Well it has been a bit eventfull really! It was Josie's 1st easter to start with! We had some friends over to celebrate (mummy did a little more celebrating than Josie (1st few drinks with the girls)) - she had a lovely timeand got lots of easter presents. We went to Chaz and Rods for Holly's birthday and more easter celebrations and then mum and dad came to stay for the Sunday night!
We have been to visit mum and dad as well, it was mums birthday on the 21st. Dad cooked a lovely dinner and we had Dianne and Graham (um and dad's next door neighbours) over for dinner! That morning we went for a strole along the noosa river - it was a really nice day! We also visited Pomona and Kin Kin, where all the flooding had been, it was pretty bad! All those poor people that lost so much! The pub looks good from the outside though considering it had a river running through it!
This weekend just gone was ANZAC day of course and we went to the 9am service at Upper Coomera! It was really good, I don't really remember the last time I went to a service! Anyway Josie was very good she didn't go in the march though, Ayden didn't want to take her without medals! Anyway we have asked Noel if he would take her in the march next year with his fathers medals! So will have a lovely update then!
We have a new video camera and vacuum (off e-bay) c/o K.Rudd! Very happy with both! It will be great to capture all of our family's little moments - I have been using the camera but I need to get a cable before I can post any video on to the blog - stay tuned! It's great to have a vacuum that actually picks things up off the floor now too! It's amazing how my life has changed - imagine being so excited about a vacuum!?
Ayden is doing well, he is working had as usual and burning the candle at both ends too! We're off to Evans Head with Julie and Noel and some of their friends next weekend so that will be a good break for him - it's a long weekend! I have asked dad if I can do the Eumundi markets for him to make a bit of extra money, so we're in the process of applying - I hope it works out it would really be a bit of a life saver!
Josie is great, she's started giggling and grabbing on to things! It's so amazing to watch her grow (I think I say that every post!)! I haven't been very good ith phot's lately but I will take some more this weekend and post again soon!
Hope everyone is doing really well and hope to hear from you all soon!
Lots of Love

Hogan Household Update

Currently Ayden is sanding some plaster back to patch up the wall we just removed, Josie is strapped to me sleeping and I thought I would do quick update while there is a little peace and quiet! We have had a couple of trips to mum and dads house since the last update, which have been really good! It's just like going on holidays when we visit them! Ayden and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary last saturday, while mum and dad looked after Josie. We had a really nice time - we staying at Kim and Barry's unit (they gave us a week there as a wedding gift) at Peregian Beach, we went out for dinner and just relaxed! We missed our little girl though!
Josie is doing well though we think she may have reflux which makes her a bit cranky :(. Will have to see the doctor this week to make sure she's ok! Josie also had her needles on thursday which wasn't the best experience so far - poor little girl - she screemed the surgery to pieces and then slept for the rest of the day (I might see if we can get needles on a more frequent basis :)). Anyway I'll put some photo's on now while there is still time - my little monster has already woken from her slumber!
Love to all xxxx

This pillow was made for Josie by Taryn's mum - Leslie - so clever!

Pa trying to wake Josie up!? He seems to believe that she should be awake until bed time :)
